LC-1 new install , but need a dumb question answered ASAP
Ready to calibrate it, all wired in, soldered connections (a bitch for me to do all this crap and run my business) and the like, even did the pushbutton and LED thing BUT....
HOW THE F**K DO I SEPERATE THE LC-1 SO THE SENSOR and Lambda things can be calibrated? It looks like a clip on the LC-1 where the sensor wire plugs in, but then again it doesn't. Is that even where it disconnects? I have it in front of my PCM, kind of hard to reach, but I am like WTF reaching this and then again it doesn't seem like I am attempting to disconnect it from the right place... Anxious to get some readings as my new mods threw off my tune and I need to drive this. I am wanting to beat this like the stepchild I never had.... TY Gary

Mine disconnects right from the LC-1 box...where the 02 wires come in
You mean the two little clips? I pryed them up and the bitch didn't budge for shit, like it was going to break clean off... This is frustrating for such a simple ass thing.. TY for answer, I will take another look there, but holy geez this bitch is like welded together-lol.
I have an LC-1 (NEW install) to an afttermarket gauge, the LED and the pushbutton calibirator. The LC-1 and the O2 has to be calibrated and the instructions says I have to keep the o2 disconnected for the LC-1 to be calibrated 5+ seconds with no O2 sensor will automatically calibrate it, then connect and do the O2 calibration with it connected to the LC-1.
I will run LC-1 into VEC II eventually I suppose or just use it for RT monitoring and or use another LC-1 in my other bank for the VEC. I know I need more HP is all and I can see my little Roe hitting the trash dump and get a nice set of TT's. Funny however, is I can do the hands on shit, the tech side, yet HOW TO TAKE THIS SHIT APART I am still lost....
Frustrating, as I am tired as shit and car is in my driveway and I am at the 99% finished mark and can't get it apart to do the last 1% of work, calibrating for a few minutes work....
Got it apart, but HOLY SHIT that sucks. Now I have to make sure I didn't dick up the O2 side wires... I am much better fixing laptops and desktops-lol.

Haha..I see you got it apart. I was about to give you a call.
Plum, feel free to call me 856-486-1297 and I will help you. Mine is getting recalibrated today as it is reading a bit weird, so I will be checking my wires, maybe adding another ground, et cetera to be sure I am getting the real scoop. Anyhow, it is nice to have a place to meet other Viper owners and get info before and after you buy stuff for the car. GTS Steve, thanks for the note too, that thing kicked my ass bad-kind of like the coil packs behind the engine on the Viper-LMAO if you had to mess with them before, you know it sucks. I could do the LC-1 a lot easier now, but I got defeated by a special plastic Nazi clip and I admit it.
