this weeknd our club had a little tour around the 'peak disctrict' lots of nice fairly empty single width roads, with great country scenery across the mountains and gorge's we had 6 vipers and 2 rams on the tour, then meet up with a few others at a pub on sunday afternoon. We visited the 2nd highest pub in the UK at (1800 feet i think above sea level) The reservoir where they tested out the bouncing bomb for the 2nd world war, a few other quaint places
one of the techy owners captured the whole route on his Nokia then uploaded it to google earth, which produced the map and other useful bits of info. We stopped in a fancy old country house thats been converted into a hotel over night, which had some lovely period features
For those wanting to know the red VCA coupe is number 16
must be a squid what ever that is ?, the owners wife wasnt driving. It does look close but wasnt touching i did get on my knees to check at the time
is ViperUK the guy with the 08, or was it the 09 model?
either way he wasnt there
the owner with the nokia told us out top speed during the whole weekend, it wasnt that fast but it sure felt quick enough, the roads are a little narrow and quite bumpy
I'd imagine Carl would really love to put 1400hp down these lanes

its illegal not to have a front plate in the UK and Europe, the fine is pretty low i think its around $100 but you also can get 3 points on your license which is far more annoying, we get 12 points on a clean license, loose those and your banned
soon points gained out of the UK in Europe will count to... so the happy days of 140mph in France will be over (they only fine you at the moment)
I run a front plate on my GTS, though two out of the 8 vipers on this trip
didnt. Over here the viper isnt an everyday car, so its on the road far less than a 'normal' car, so there's a much greater chance of not being pulled over for a missing plate. The plate does spoil the look of the front end
