Is that with Gen 2 halfshafts, or new drive flanges for CV shafts?

Viper tax! Taylor sells them for either standard yolks or modified for CVs.
I believe that taylor is the only authorized viper quaife dealer in the US for gen2's. Everyone else resells their stuff.
I think. I may be incorrect.

I hear CVs are the way to go when you're running big HP..

I'm almost certain that they are set up for CV halfshafts, and that price may include them.

I'm now officially over my head. What is the difference between CV half shafts and the others?

I bought the quaife & the half shafts. Worth every penny for the peace of mind and safety factors.

Standard Gen 1 & 2 rears have half-shafts with u-joints at both ends and rather large diameter tubing. The Gen 3 cars have splined solid shafts with constant velocity (CV) joints at both ends. I think the CV setup is actually a little heavier, but they are much more efficient at transferring torque throughout the range of movement than u-joints. Net result is more power at the tire and better handling.
