It has been brought to my attention that someone on this board thought it was necessary to do a background check on my past to include my high school period some 16 years ago. This information is being passed around through emails and some of you may have already seen it. Rather than let these people blackmail me with the threat of public disclosure of this information, I'm releasing it here for any and all to draw their own conclusions regarding whether or not it is relevant as to who I am today.
I ran around with the wrong crowd for about a six month period in high school and did some stupid shit. We did the joy riding thing with cars and motorcycles and took a radar detector from a car. The report being passed around also lists an offense regarding the burning of a public building, that one is in error. What happened there was I was with a group of guys who tried to burn a motor cycle in the woods. I don't have any idea why it shows up as a burning building but that is not accurate.
The best thing my dad ever did at the time was to not bail me out of the pokey and let me sit until the hearings were held. Full restitution was made by myself and my friends for all damages. Probation and community service was awarded for all charges to everyone involved. This I can tell you, I learned my lesson. In the sixteen years since this happened, my only contact with law enforcement has been for speeding tickets. That I'm afraid may continue as I don't have my own private runway like Sean Roe, but I'm working on this too.
I'm not sure what the motivation is for someone to dig up this type of information and pass it around and threaten public disclosure but I hope this is not the type of activity that is going to be acceptable within the Viper community. I work hard, race hard, build fast cars and yes at times talk smack. However to the parties responsible for this, if this is what you have as your best response, rest assured I'm not going there with you.

Well...there are some vendors on this board that have stolen and continue to steal from past/current customers (Viper Owners)...and yet they are still in business/continue to do business. I'd say your offenses are very minor. Continue doing what you are doing. You seem to get a lot of both new and repeat business from locals and from people a great distance away. I don't think I have heard a disparaging word (implied, stated or otherwise) from a prior customer. I think that speaks volumes about who you are and your business ethics.
You are not running for president. You are building fast cars. All I can say is this would and does not have any affect on me having you build my car.
I would go out on a limb and say most of us have had some brush with the law at some point growing up. I don't know who and or why anyone would even bring this up on here. (well, we all might have a feeling who).

I wouldn't loose sleep over it, just get back to work...
If you've made mistakes in the past and learned from it, in the end that's what counts.
But always remember, what you did in the past will always come back to bite you in the ass. Look at JH. He may have cleaned up but, the past always comes back and him from time to time.

UGR is building fast cars and making happy customers. How is this even relevant? Perhaps because they can't take things away form you that you are currently accomplishing, so digging up trash somehow makes them feel superior?

Kevin, I have no reservations at all with my 150K build....of which you already have 80K......You are my guy for this build........I did some stupid stuff too when I was a kid.....it is HISTORY......and behind us both.....NO WORRIES here at all..
I have dealt with 3 tuners and The only totaly honest one has been Kevin. It is real easy to point fingers at people and it is real easy to assume where this stuff comes from as some Tuner's want to bring you down to their level.

I've personally had my Viper worked on by UGR several times of which involved even having my engine sent out. I've spent a fair amount with Kevin and KC and will be back either this week or next week to have more work done to my Viper!
