Anyone using the B&M shifter?

As I understand it that shifter used to have some sort of adjustable bolts to limit travel, but the updated model does not have the bolts.

Is that a concern?

TIA

No, not a concern. However, the body has threaded holes where the stops would go if they were there. You can put your own in. Make sure you adjust them properly.

I have the short shift B&M...but not sure of the adjustment bolts your talking about. It has an adjustable (height) lock nut and threaded shaft that can be adjusted about 1/4 - 1"

So the theory on the travel limiting bolts is what..because of the shortened shift throw via raised shifter pivot(?) there is or at least was a risk of shifting too far into a gear?

Evidently then B&M found the adjustment bolt addition unnecessary later on..

The early B&M were also prone to breaking. THAT sucked!

I installed a Hurst shifter in mine recently, and the shaft seems longer than the stock one! The throw seems to be shorter though....

The theory on the stops is to prevent internal damage to the transmission from banging the gears hard. T56's apparently have internal stops so having stops on the shifter is redundant. Your factory shifter does not have them. That combined with people not adjusting them properly, which caused other problems, led B&M to eliminate them. Unless you're an Arnold Schwarzenegger type that likes to pound the gears, I wouldn't worry about it.
