Quick question Spray, what is the advantage of the baffling? Not familiar with this brand, so am interested in information.
Looking forward to seeing the pics.
thanks for the update Mike, i really appreciate this.
the baffling is designed to allow the crank case pressure (ring blow by, etc) to be able to ventilate, but at the same time not allow engine oil (there is a mist that developes inside the engine too) to pass the baffle system and then enter the intake manifold. our baffle system keeps the oil in the engine to avoid intake contamination, yet breathe better than a stock valve cover.
the other thing these valve covers allow is the use of roller rockers on Gen 3 vipers, so you dont have to buy $500 spacers. on a Gen 2 you can mount roller rockers, but you need to remove the stock baffles, and the stock baffles are already prone to allowing oil to by-pass them.
we machine in a perimetered wall system for the baffles and then use laser cut stainless plates to close them off. you can run our vent system straight to the intake or use the supplied filters we provide or run them to a check valve on your exhaust collectors.
if you have any more questions, i am at your service
thanks

Thanks for the detailed reply, that answered any and all questions I had with the exception of what is you web site? They look great, might be considering a set. In the next few months will start compiling parts to start the upgrading process.

sure thing. our website is in a constant state of construction, but its getting there!
its X-Metal Engineering
I have been looking for some V covers that look good and are priced right for a few years now , these fit the bill and are exactly what I have been looking for. The next best option was also a custom made set at $1700 and did not look half as good............
