Advantages of living in Europe

Well, spent the day watching the Corvette's and Viper's run the European cars ragged in Monza. Better than this, it goes again in a little while The FIA GT3 is alive and well, what a day so far. Living in Italy gives me such an appreciation for racing, I never realized how much fun it could be to watch Vipers, Vettes, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche's, etc go after each other. Today was the mosts intense racing I have ever seen.

Unfortunately, the Vette (Calloway) edged out the Viper , but we had one hell of a run. AWESOME RACE!!!!

Disadvantage, my Viper GTS is back in the states until I return in 6 to 7 months.

The second race proved fruitless for the Viper's at the track today. Looks like the Dodge teams need to get back to the drawing board because the Corvettes are unbeatable in this series, the Calloway took the win in the second race as well. The first race was a lot more competative as the Vipers faded late.

Aren't the Vipers held down with simply ridiculous restrictions?

Not sure about the setup restrictions for the races. It was a great weekend all in all though.

Forgot to mention, the REAL best thing about living in Europe. The beaches... TOLPESS is just normal, let me tell you fella's, it is INCREDIBLE and you just never get tired of looking!

yes, they had a great first season last year in the new series GT3, and since then they been quite restricted with ballast and smaller intake dimensions

one of our club guys has his own compe coupe for trackdays which doesnt suffer any restrictions, a couple of weeks ago there was a trackday at Silverstone where a CC GT3 in the British GT series was doing some testing, it couldnt keep up and got passed several times by un-restricted privateer
which must of made the pro-team curse
