2002 fe for 48,500?

Im in the market again but im not having much luck finding what I want, probably because its 150k. So I found a 16k mile FE with a few minor bolt ons, the only thing wrong with it is a sap spot on the rear spoiler which will probably need paint to get right.

I think its an ok deal but its tough to judge a deal on a car that isnt what you really want but is what you can afford.

What do you guys think?

Prices are all over the place depending on a lot of things. If its not what you really want, why spend all that money? Wait till you find what you want and have the money to get it.

most sap spots require a good detailer not a repaint...

Pretty good price for the car. FE's hold their values VERY well. I agree with Chipster though, hold out for what you really want.

Its not really a matter of holding out its a matter of not wanting to sack up and buy a gt.

The FE seems like something that may get it out of my system and may not but they seem to have quit depreciating 4 years ago.

In fact I think that more cars are listed over 60k right now than when I got my first GTS in early 03. I got an 01 with 3k miles for 56k way back then.

I also found a solid blue 06 coupe with 3800 miles that I should be able to get in the 63k range. I lost so much on my last srt-10 that im a little gun shy though. I cant seem to stay in a car longer than 6 months.

It was a privately owned car too, not a skip barber deal

There was an FE that sold on Ebay for $39K. A little beatup, but still an awesome price. Look around and take your time, you find the right car.
