Will a 285/35 19 PS2 (26.9” dia) cause any front clearance problems?

I thought I had everything figured out and ordered some Forgelines recently, 20x13 for the rear, 19x10.5 for the front and the 335/30ZR20 Michelin PS2’s (ONLY rear tire choice at this time for 20” wheels) and 285/30 19 PS2’s were recommended. The 335/30’s are 28” in diameter and the 285/30’s are only 25.8” in diameter. I am worried that the 2” difference is going to look like shit and would prefer to put the 285/35’s on the front with a 26.9” diameter. Didn’t think I would have any clearance issues until I lifted the hood and the bottom of the fender comes within a ½” of the stock tire that is 26” in diameter. I really don’t think this will be a major problem but was just wondering if any one is running a 27” dia. tire in the front or heard of any problems associated with that (I have a 2000 GTS)

I put 335/18s on the front of my 2000 and they cleared the stock suspension. If your suspension is stock and depending how you drive the may clear. I ran the 335s hard on a road race track.

Thanks for the info SoCal. That is good to know as I may be using my stock 18" wheels for some track duty although I don't think I could put a 335 on the 10" wide rims. At this point I plan on trying the 285/35/19's unless someone tells me they have tried this and it didn't work. If I have a problem, I guess I will have to find a Ferrari 430 or BMW M6/M5 owner who needs some stock replacements
