AEM guys help me out

Got my aem installed a month ago. After tuning i noticed that the mph and rpm guage seemed like they liked to jump around A LOT..

And now every other time driving it the car will go from idling at 800 rpm's to 1500 rpm's..

If I restart the car it goes away and idles /drives perfect..

Did any of you also have this problem. Is this part of the **update** AEM is telling me about?

Pretty pissed. Told them i wanted my money back after spending 2500$ on somthing thats working like sh*t and they said they dont do refunds.

Please tell me this is normal and after the **update** it'll be fine.

Did the car have a Roe SC at one time? If it did you need to remove the extra grounds that may have been added. One is back by the battery and the other near the PS pump. The TPS may need to be recallibrated after ground removal. I had the problem on mine and it fixed it. I have one of the older AEM's that has not been modified.

i had the rough / surging idle problem as well .. it had to do with the "cold start" mode or something ... J Heff hooked me up and the update took care of it.
