As for Kevin D and Mccarlin, try finding another 1998 black Supra with a titan 3.4L, 6speed, with under 25,000 orignal miles ect. for under $80,000 The only other one I know that is for sale is Pratkanis and he is asking somewhere upwards of $90,000 and his isnt even a '98.
$80K for a supra is like trying to sell "Reebok Classic's" for $1,000 a pair, ROFL! No matter what the mods or speed...they simply top out in value and go no higher. Usually around $60K for a car that's built from the ground up on a perfect low mile 6-spd car. It's still a production toyota...PS; I've seen guys asking $50,000 for their BPU supra's before...what's your point? lol. Those dreamers aren't GETTING anywhere close to that value. They'd be throwing money away paying 80 grand for ANY supra. There are guys asking for $125,000+ for bone stock vipers with extremely low miles....and much more than that for low mile GTS TT one's. But I'm talking about mainstream cars vs. mainstream cars. Not la la land.
...most TT's Viper GTS's would make between 200-and-300RWHP MORE than you're supra. And about 400+ RWT more. Would hand you a new asshole on the highway or dragstrip, and get far more attention on the road from ALL pedistrians as a Viper is something a toyota supra never was or will be....an exotic. Hence, you'll be spending $30,000 cash (or more) on top of forfieting your toyota to own A Viper modded the way your asking. That's the market value they WILL recieve with ease. If you only intent to trade straight up then I could see you picking up a clean low mileage stock GTS or lightly modded one. (perhaps even a roe blown one with a few bolt-ons if ur lucky)
...if you are serious good luck, almost ALL the big boys of the MKIV have evolved and stepped UP to Vipers now. And there are many reaons for that. (and no, not just becuase they're trying some new, lol) The base car is much more expensive than a supra and so are the mods for them....but like everything in life cavin, "you get what you pay for"...
I love a nicely built bit T Supra like the one shown. However the drivibility at the 1000+ HP levels will always go to the Viper. Look at how smooth JD's 99 RT car pulled the 1500 RW. Try to get a Supra to 1500+ RW and see how drivable and smooth it still is.

...they pretty much max out at ~1200rwhp and have very poor lag/responce/drivability at that power level. It's not comparing apples and apples, not a fair comparison at all. A TT 8.0L V10 is obviously always going to be superior to a turbo 3L 6 banger.

I agree but it is a 3L with one turbo vs an 8 liter with 2 turbos. Not really a a fair comparison. You can do with the viper what you wanted to do with the supra without the lag issues due to almost triple the diplacement.
But you have to hand it to the supra. I mean who would have thought they could do what they have done with it. I mean they have made 1500rwhp + and have run 7's in the 1/4. I did not think that was possible either.

Actually the small penis complex started long before I bought my Viper. It must have started during the 16 years I owned a Supra Apparently the condition must have intensified as I bought a BL single and fuel system to help compensate....
Chris, you have achieved some great milestones using the Supra platform, but there's no need to bash the Viper owners as many of us came from the Supra community. If you bash us as Viper owners, you are also bashing us as Supra owners.
