my 95r/t has a low idle, approx. 400-450 rpm. any idea what could cause this ? air filters are good, fuel filter ok,have not changed gas supplier etc. ???
first sych your Throttle boddies (look on the org site for instructions) if that does not help, check the voltage at idle of your TPS. the pins on the TPS sensor lose contact very easy, (but you should get a chyeck engine lite if they are not making contact) You may have to get a scan tool and check what the output your PCM is receiving vs what it should be at idle

What is the voltage supposed to be at? How do you check it (what wires on the TPS)? Probably the same as Fox Body Mustangs, but some details would be good....

Misreading the tic marks often leads to complaints of abnormally low idle. Start at 2000 rpm and count tic marks down toward 0 and you might be surprised what you find.
viper tech says there is a ''miss'' on all 10 cycl. (very slight) he is trying to pin point it. miss is constant at any rpm he feels it may be fuel related (map iacm ) or even a week wire related problem. anyone ever have any coil problems ?
