Question Spark Plug Wire(s) Shielding

What has (if anyone) used for spark-plug wire (boots) shielding? I noticed a slight misfire last night w/ my msd wireset. So I waiting till it was dark, turned off the garage lights and noticed 1 cylinder spark boot arcing on the metal shielding; and 2 others sporadically doing it also.

I checked the boots, and no burn marks/etc...but can you cover the boots with some sort of shielding to direct the current to the tip of the plug? or are the boots the problem and need to be replaced?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like some quality product.

I shot him a PM to get a set...in the mean-time, I removed the metal 'shields' and put double layer fiberglass boot sleeves (heat shields) instead and my spark-miss is gone.
