TX2K7 60-130 mph & 1/4 Mile Test & Tune (Sat. 3/17) Update
It was an incredible day! Over 800 attended this event today with over 100 participating in the 60-130 and 1/4 mile testing. The weather, the people, the track and the action was as good as it gets. Stacey B. (UG TT GTS) went 4.6 sec. 60-130 to win the drag tire class, Bob Helms (Supra auto) ran 4.8 sec. to win the drag radial class and a Supra (forgot name) ran 6.6 sec. to win the street tire class.
Lots of really fast cars in attendance. Nero's Titan crew with several 6, 7 & 8 sec. cars. Boost Logics insane Supra and a lot more.
Kelly Martin gets the iron man award as he had to have 20+ runs combined today between the 60-130 and 1/4 mile! And they were all smoking fast too!
Ok, tons more to talk about but i am tired. You just have to see this event in person to understand how incredible it is. Makes the last VOI look like a tea party for girls.
Peter Blach is a car event genius and keeps making these events bigger and better!

PS - we did some testing on the Venom Comp Coupe today too. It needs some work but its got some potential. Anybody ever seen a car run 9's on Michelin Pilot Sports with 32 psi on a non-prepped track surface? me neither, til today........

Sounds like a ton of fun, I hope to hear some good passes today at the track. The track went hot at 10 right?
Hopefully BL can put their car back together in time, I heard they blew a motor but are switching it up with Chris's motor from his personal street car. Should be tons of fun today!

I'll ask, what's the 1st number before the / ? For instance, what does the 2.8 represent on Stacey's runs?

I think the first set of numbers is 60-100 and then 60-130 is second set.

Chad, yes, sorry, the first number is 60-100 and the second is 60-130.
Kelly, it was a pleasure meeting you in person. You have a beautiful and very fast car, I look forward to seeing you again sometime soon...
