Thank You Viperalley and everyone on here for the help and support throughout this time of helping me get a Viper. I must admit that it took me a while mainly because I loved the GTS but was never able to see one in real life except for the RT/10.
On Sunday, My GTS was delivered, it was amazing and beautiful and just reflects the quality of how the previous owner had taken care of her, did I say this is just so beautiful, just amazing man - I can just sit in my garage and look at her for hours. I must admit, the GF was kinda jealous but all in fun and games.
Guys, I have been bugging you all with, some stupid questions and most that were just random and you guys came through for me with answers. I must say that sometimes I got Neg reps for asking stupid questions but it was something that I didn't know about. I am not complaining, not at all and never will because no matter what, it was all of you and this Alley that helped me, that gave me the information, the Education on what to look at, how to see different areas, what to ask the owners and what to get.
I ended up with a 1998 GTS Red with Factory Silver Stripes and had already bought the 06 Viper wheels and tires for her. The Viper has the stock polished 17' on her as is but maybe next week or so I will be changing that to the 19's. Are there any adjustments I need to do or will they fit right in? I am also planning on getting the Cold Air for her, but that is it for mods "for now"
My questions will never stop guys, This is the only place where one gets first hand information, where one gets to meet or chat with the real Viper Gurus so why go someone else when all is here. I know I may have offended you guys or took part in stupid bashing as such, but I am sure everyone goes through that phase once or twice. For that, I would like to apologize to the entire Alley. I am sorry guys!
I have come to realize that, a picture of a Viper is no way near what the car looks like in real life, pictures just don't do justice to these cars at all. I am 6'1 and about 240 and fit just fine, I even have to raise the pedals and put the sit a bit front to actually drive her, but I LOVE IT.
It has a deep sound to it, I never heard a stock GTS so can someone educate me if the deep sound is stock? I have tons of pictures but I don't know how to post them. I will upload them on my gallery or on a website for you all to see my SEXY GTS
I am just joyful, I own my Dream car that I wanted for 10yrs. This car is just amazing, just amazing... one can look at her and fall in love.

Yes Joel that was me, Mike emailed me and asked if I could post that for him and have some fun, that is all I did bud. i didn't think of it as anything bad but fun. But after I read in that other thread of all that was going on, I felt bad for saying that along him, I am sorry for that and I apologized in my thread here for my stupidity. Besides being sorry and apologizing, I really can't change what happened but learn from it. If you want to stay mad at me for that, I can't change your mind. I am sorry Sir.

You know, I certainly appreciate the happiness of the new GTS owner, as that is my catagory as well. New GTS owner. I am really unsure of why so many people have forgotten that first Viper/Dream Car feeling and gotten so full of themselves.
It seems that with nearly every forum, people so easily distract from the facts that at one point they were new. Folks, this is NOT HIGH SCHOOL, so drop the BS and check the garbage slinging at the door, it is just not necessary.
For all of you that have a Viper or two or more, consider yourself lucky and always remember that first time... the first time when you peeked in to the garage and then looked again at the incredible site that lurked within your garage.

see the clear covers over the driving lights on this 98?
...and then look at yours. It's hard to tell but I don't see any holes with the picture you posted.
If there are (4 maybe?) holes where the cover mounts...you may be ok. The previous owner may have just removed them. If you don't see any holes....someone may have replaced that front fascia with a 99 and up version. Another possibility is the fascia was repainted and the holes were filled in.
One reason a person replaces the fascia is due to an accident.
Thanking the Alley from the bottom of your heart is great and all, but if you really want to thank the Alley, thank it from the bottom of your WALLET and become an Alley supporter (link in my sig).
Naked girlfriend pics are also considered an appropriate way of expressing gratitude on the Alley.

Hey man I am stressing out about this already, there goes my excitement... You are talking about the lights on the bumper right? I thought they were fog lights, oops. i am still new so pls don't get upset at me and my retarded questions. Is there suppose to be a cover on it? I don't see any and can't really figure out what you mean man.. damn... someone please help me out... I checked carfax and it came out clean...
