...I'm seriously considering the Roe blower for my 97' GTS, I want at least an even 600RWHP (corrected). I don't want to use meth inj however, and want to keep the boost @ 6.5lbs on my 97' motor. Besides from what i read and seen 8 & 10lb pulley aren't THAT dramatically higher in "peak numbers" anyway....
...I will have already had intake (k & N cones with hard pipes), 1 3/4 headers, roe 3inch high-flow metal substrate cats, borla exhaust, 1.7 ratio hardland sharp full rockers w/ harderd pushrods. Will my 97' fall short of my 600rwhp* goal? And if so, what could I do to ensure meeting that goal without upping boost...? Thanks for any comment, info, suggestions...
Depends on the tune and how close to the ragged edge you're willing to go. Even with that, I would think you still will need the 8 lbs pulley and water/meth. I have it on my car and make 640HP/700TRQ. Good luck though,
Like 99 rt/10 said, you will probably have to go with the 8 psi pulley. But as I've noticed with these cars....anything is possible so call them to see what's possible.
A 97 forged, 708 cam car... the 8psi/meth set up should work fine with Vec2 instal. The 10 psi pulley with good tune should be able to pull the 600 RW no problem. When I was in NJ some of the Viper guys visited the base and one member had an 02 cast car with 6.5 psi, no meth and made 620 RWHP 635 RWTQ he told me.

Nope not HIM But yeah I like his car/setup, nice guy too. This was a graphite/grey striped GTS, pulled nice actually. Steve with the silver ACR came down as well, I think he also races an RX-7 if I remember right.
We have a 2001 5 pound Roe car--Belanger headers with a Corsa system- -no water meth--that made 554HP/586TQ running mid 9s to mid 10s AFR. The dyno run was done in 2003 before you were able to log. I know there's a little more in it when I finish tuning it up this spring. With RRs, I would guess you might make 600. I think the 6.5 adds about 20HP, as do the roller rockers.
My 99 ACR put down 599.2 in the Texas heat with a Roe blower, 7lb. pulley, and AEM. David Weaver of ART did the tuning. If anyone could advise you, it'd be him. Send him a PM or email.

Praise the lord for good fuel !!!!
2Tonetta2 good to see you again, how is everything going? Sean did the work on the car and helped tune it too. The other guys were wondering the same thing on how he could "get away with it" on a cast car.
Yes Praise the good Lord for quality fuel

You know.....just being "part of the team" does not give you the rights to call me 2T2 When you get a car....any kind of car that can run as slow as an 11.anything .... hell, when you get a few years under your belt and actually know shit about cars, call me and we will talk. Reading a few boards does not constitute "knowing"
You actually have to get your hands greasy first....and I'm not talking about bicycle chain grease.
