Cam Help Please

Hey guys, here's the deal... I am holding off on the supercharger for now. However, I do want to upgrade my cam. My first question is, what is the stock cam specs/lift? Second, I found a couple camshafts w/lifters on Ebay.. If anyone would like to check them out and give suggestions as to which would be best if any. What I am wanting is an agressive cam, but not TOO big. I don't want the car stalling on me if I get caught in a traffic jam. I also want to make power in the low-to-mid range. If I am racing from a roll, I don't want to have to rev to high RPM's to make power. I won't be drag racing the car anytime soon right now. Mainly just playing around streets and such. ANY recommendations or suggestions is greatly appreciated. And if you think one of those camshafts would be good, is there anything else I would need for install such as valve springs, etc? Thanks again in advance for your responses. Here are the links...

.545 lift with a 1.7 rocker. 221int & 230exh duration @ .050 sounds like a good cam for a modded street car.

A buddy of mine has a comp cam with 224, 230 duration @ .050 and .598/.578exh lift.

You can usually find a decent cam on ebay for next to nothing. As long as you stay around that .590 lift and 230 duration on a hydraullic roller you should not have any piston to valve problems.

Giving Crower or comp a call will help you more than listening to myself or just about anyone else on this board.

I'm running a 228/234 with .581 lift and have over .150 piston-valve clearance. Thats with a piston .007 out of the hole and a .040 thick head gasket. Do what DynoDaddy said, call the cam companies.
