GFFL: Thanks man. I can't get 93 here. But once I move to orlando, I will re-tune for the gas they have. Yes, it runs fine on 91. This car was built to make good power that is 110% reliable. I didn't want the motor to go pop again when at the track. Under Greg's advice, I didn't put Ti retainers or anything "exotic" into the heads cam package. The cam really isnt' much bigger than a 708. The pistions in this car are setup for NO2 as well. So the upper ring is thicker than stock (and robs power). But it should outlast a stock car too. I'm sure once the motor is broke in I will pick up 5-10rwhp.
V4C: Looking at the dyno sheet the power curve is very smooth. TQ looks awesome too.
Kevin D: I've heard that before....but B&B's seem to work best on FI and Bell's work best in N/A....from what I've heard. If you know someone that would "lend" me a set for a side by side run, I'd be up for that.
Please keep in mind, this wasn't built to make huge dyno numbers, It is a street car 1st. If I used a larger cam, and re-do the fuel system (it is stock) I could easily get close to 600rwhp(according to Jason @ RSI.)
Power under the curve is sweet. Also, the raw numbers were 570rwhp and 610rwtq....but it was 60deg and the SAE correction factor brought it down to 545rwhp/581tq.
