Congrats to Sal and everyone on getting the car dialed in so quickly. It came together a whole lot faster than I expected it to and in that instance I was wrong.
But I'm sticking to my guns that it won't see anywhere near a 70 (as stated by others) in current trim.
Again, well done guys.
I promise you will see 7.70's or much better in IRS Viper

In another car that very well may be possible, But I was talking about Sal's. Your car is a weeeeee bit further on the cutting edge than this one.
With some different a-arm geometry and a better diff there is much time to be had in the 60...
1.20 60ft > wheels up circus side show.
Game on

Congrats Sal, way to raise the bar and keep it raised with future quicker passes.
I also am standing my ground that under the right conditions for driver/car/track, that 70's or better are possible.

Congrats Sal
Nice to see you display the weight of the car with the passes
After a 2 year build it has to be rewarding to see it finally perform and do as well as it has.
You've just started running it, I'm sure there's more in it

In that case I'd like to hear your theory on why Roof's car hasn't been a 7 yet. on any tire, let alone a drag radial after testing with an auto trans for over a year. I'm not criticizing, just looking for a little clarification.

I haven't been following the progress of that car in the slightest, but from the little I have heard it sounds like tranny issues.
I'm sure Kevin will tell you all about it if he wants to, it's not my place to spill any info about the car.
