Congrats Sal, way to raise the bar and keep it raised with future quicker passes. I also am standing my ground that under the right conditions for driver/car/track, that 70's or better are possible.

In that case I'd like to hear your theory on why Roof's car hasn't been a 7 yet. on any tire, let alone a drag radial after testing with an auto trans for over a year. I'm not criticizing, just looking for a little clarification.

I haven't been following the progress of that car in the slightest, but from the little I have heard it sounds like tranny issues.

I'm sure Kevin will tell you all about it if he wants to, it's not my place to spill any info about the car.
