Would a set of Striker heads give? Around 6 months from now I plan on buying either a TT or SC'er viper. A few I've seen for sale have ported versions of the stock head. How much improvement has been seen from putting a set of strikers on? I only ask as I may pull the strikers off my truck before selling it.
Can't give you a specific power gain but I can give you a general principle. The Striker heads will make a big difference and that difference will increase with boost. You'll also have cooler intake temps as the better flow will create less heat at the same boost. If you already have em - don't get rid of them.
I was just curious if anyone had taken a 1000hp car and swapped them out to see the difference. I appreciate the info so far. Obviously 15lbs of boost on a ported factory head will read less once a striker is on. Curious by how much.
