I am trading my 98 rt/10 that I bought from Kevin @ UGR this past summer and am removing the S/C kit and fuel system. This system is incredible to say the least, I was going to put it on my B&W GTS but Kevin already has all my new goodies sitting at his shop ready to install I took a video of the car running last night prior to removal of the system to show it's in PERFECT working order with no problems. The reason for removing it is to keep the cost down on the trade (and to keep the guy I'm trading with from killing himself ) He is trading me a very good condition 94 RT with
19k miles on it (black on gray) (I will prob. offer it for sell as well) I think I want to get a SRT conv. now to go with the GTS's.
Anyway the system comes with the split second computer tuned by KC for 800RWHP on 93 octane Paxton Novi 2K, red billet fuel rails, 55lb or 60lb. injectors (I don't know which they are) 1,000 HP fuel pump with braided stainless lines. This setup is absolutely awesome for someone wanting extreme power for a relatively small investment! This kit has very low miles on it. I would love to have been offered this set up when I did my ROE s/c last year This will make someone VERY VERY happy! OK now for the price............I think $8,500 is prob. fair based on what this will add power wise vs anything else for this kind of coin.
Thanks, Matt
When I purchased the car, Kevin and KC thought it had less than 4 thousand miles on it. The car was only used for street, NO drag or other racing. I bought the car with 28,000 miles and it now has 29,500. So I will guess worst case maybe 5K or so miles on the S/C kit. Again, the car ran perfectly and I love this set up. I'll try and get some pics up if anyone is interested.
How much is the kit from Paxton??$6495
Plus the Aeromotive 1000 $900
Hey Dickwildhair, That's a pump onlydumbass what about the fuel pressure regulator, fittings, lines, rails, injectors, and all the other components to make the system work? I got an idea for you S T F U!!!! There is no need for you to reply hear so call all the tuners making these kits perform at this power level and tell them their overpriced at the typical 17 to 20K they all charge for this kit installed

I guess it is not that killer of a deal, so I mispoke. Hopefully it isn't the Eliminator pump and its the A1000. And the A1000 is only $3xx from Jegs/Summit.
Your first post (as ironic as it is) exuberated much more intelligence
You and your buddy dickwildhair need to research the differences between the tuner kits making REAL power and the "generic base kit" until then stay out of this post! Thank You

don't pay attention to all the BS. Even though im sure you can get a paxton kit and a fuel pump to make 800+ on pump gas with a bone stock motor

Hmm didn't see anywhere where you are going to make 1500rwhp for $500. But I did see where I corrected Blakes post about the pump being $3xx vs. his posted $900. I guess I must have some great UR paxton on my car.
the price is good, actually great if you ask me. look aty what these kits from a tuner are selling installed from tuners not paxton directly. you are talking about 2 totally different animals here. A paxton kit it self is only like 6500 and is not what you get when you buy the kit from the tuners like UGR or Doug Levin etc. there is custom bracketry, computer mods/programming to the splitsec box included and of course the fuel system to consider. Stick to your price, it is certainly worth the coin you ask. The only thing I would say to you is the only way you would need to come down off the number is depending on how hard up you need the cash.

THANK YOU v10kingsnake!!! It's so hard to believe people can't understand that simple logic I really appreciate you explaining that for the non coherent I would like to sell it, but if I can't get what I myself would be willing to pay then I'll keep it and put it on the 2002 and just change the pulley since it's not forged. I will ask this question for all the nay sayers...... What the hell can you buy (besides nitrous) and put on that will give this much power RELIABLY for this price????? I know the answer..... N O T H I N G!
FWIW I can install this kit for anyone wanting it that doesn't want to tackle it themselves
Hey Pal...Opinions are like assholes! My OPINION is that your price is high....some people think its fair.......get over it. The truth is that you have a BASIC Paxton kit with a custom Split Second program......uhhhhh thats it. The fuel system is about $3 grand NEW. $6500+$3000 Is what it would cost to replace what your selling.....NEW. Now if it were installed and tuned fr the new CAR it was going on then sure...but its not. Most likely whoever buys it will have to go have someone RETUNE it because no 2 cars are the same....you attacked me bud....I was just askin a question.
WEll I think it is a great price on a kit, especially the tuner version that has been proven and has the correct setup. You may have to retune it but it will just be fine tuning.
