Question about AEM EMS

I was on the AEM site, and in the install instructions it says that you lose
the factory alarm/keyless entry, and with the key in the on position you have to use the manual inside levers to open the doors. Is this correct?
What else do you lose? any factory gauges?
Thanks

There is a relocate kit that gets the lost door switch function back. No other issues.

Where can I get this kit? from AEM? I had heard that you lose the tach and speedo operation. Not true then.

You only lose the tach/speedo operation with the AEM on the SRT's.

1996-2002 is no problem for all the analog gauges to work.

If you have an SRT 10 you can buy a harness that allows the analog gauges to work.

You can call John Reed @ 503-289-4020 or Jim Voorhees @ 630-803-2360.

Both make the harness to make the the analog gauges on the SRT's function properly with the AEM.

Good luck!

The genII AEM kit comes with everything you need to relocate the stock ECU and retain usage of the door lock switch function.

I am still in the process of gathering up all the parts for the build up.
I am waiting on Garth to finish up the fuel hangers so I can complete the
fuel system. I have a vec2 that I am up in the air about weather I want to install it or not. Basicly to skip any tuning issues that I might run into, and go ahead and do the AEM.
