You know the rotors with the yellow or gold color? It is a zinc wash right? Before installing would you paint the "hat" section with high temp paint or does this zinc coating never let them rust?
no need to paint them. as long as theyre coated, they wont rust. only the disc surface that the pad scrubs will be exposed. that part rusts momentarily. but once you drive and brake, the pads swipes it clean.
