New Viper Classified: Fidanza Aluminum flywheel with clutch and PP

A new Classified Ad has been posted to the Vipers For Sale section:

Description: I have a used Fidanza flywheel along with pressure plate and clutch that I have taken out of my Turbo Viper.

By a miracle from God I made about 35 dyno runs over 1000rwhp as well as multiple 10.X @ 145-154mph 1/4 mile passes. Add to that about 2000 miles of ~800rwhp street driving you could call these pieces USED.

If you were a cheap bastard you could put the whole assy in your car, but I would not reccomend doing that. If you only want the flywheel I will throw the rest of the shit in the trash as they are not worth shipping.

The flywheel needs the steel face plate to be replaced. You can pick these up from fidanza and bolt on yourself in about 15 minutes. THey come already faced and ready to go. I do not know how much these cost, so do some investigative work.

I have gone with a McLeod twin disk setup.

Hey dynodaddy, remind me to not allow you to write up a sales pitch for my car if i should ever decide to sell her. I have a feeling it might sound like this... 1997 viper gts, looks ok since being totalled. steering wheel squeaks louder than the stereo speakers pop. The factory original tires hold air for more than 48 hours as well. Because the owner was conscious of the enviroment this earth friendly vehicle has never had ANY fluids changed. Any offers will be taken and if they dont pour in soon, i will be donating the car to the purple heart charities.

I totally hear you, but I LOVE the brutal candor of this ad. That is fucking badass. Good for you DD.

Let us know how you like the McLeod. I had one in my '98 Z28 with N2O, and it chattered some on the street, but that fucker held.

As soon as I get it in the car and broke in I plan on testing it out. I will re-dyno the car, make the 1150-1200 rwhp on the 15psi / 93 octane tune like i planned on doing before, decimate all the surounding street cars that I did not get to race last year and then dip into the 9's on drag radials @ 160mph.

After that I will be satisfied and will contemplate what my next move should be.

From the looks of it now i could strap on some JM heads and make even more unassisted pump gas power, or sell it and build something with an even higher power to weight combination, Like a TT LS7 or TT5.4DOHC Ultima GTR.

Because I already got a free flywheel from my ass buddies at RSI, I will allow you to keep your Viper. Your sins are forgiven. Sin no more.
