In 1969 I wanted the bad ass 69 Camaro. I was 13 and my friend Tony always ribbed me about it for years. Yeah yeah yeah your going to own this wild car.... Fast forward and at 21 I bought my 69 SS convertible and still have it today. My first car dream and eventually it came to be. If you work hard and save those hard earned dollars sometime soon todays dreams will become tomorrows reality.

Hey everyone how are ya doin? This may sound funny to you or it may not. If so then I'm glad I could give you a laugh. Anywho, in all seriousness, I'm a 20 year old guy who has loved vipers since my mom introduced me to them in the very early 90's. She loves them, not as much as she loves Vettes though. She's a Vette person all the way. The early RT/10's are by far my absolute favorite. They are what have inspired me to want to design cars! I love the car so much and have at times thought I'd never be able to obtain one until now! I've been doing alot of searching and have come up extreeeeemely surprised at how much a used first gen viper goes for! My dad got me a 19,000 dollar ford focus (I know, slowcus, ;( ) recently brand new. I'm going to have it for a while but with vipers costing as little as 24,000 at times (rare though) I'm really considering getting one within the next 7-10 years! So I want to know what you guys think about this and what advice you might have. By the way, I was getting Viper quarterly when I was like 11 or 12. Just pointing out how much I love the car. She was the copied by my father who got a 69. She sold hers a few years later because the vette rode rough and gave her headaches and my dad's never even really worked. Now fast forward ten years. My parents divorced in back in 95 and I grew up with my mom. She's still a doctor but we moved to a wee place called bastrop, louisiana and she had to start all over. Now not only is there not much money for an honest family practitioner these days but where we are there are very few people with money and most are on welfare or something equivalent. We live in a 500 dollar a month rental house while my father sits his happy @## down in slidell in a mansion on the bayou. Now you see the reason for my telling you this is to better illustrate my situation and how my father is a dishonest, kiniving jerk whom i had to beg to get me a car and barely got him to pay the insurance. My mother and I simply can't afford it! Even so, he got me what he wanted me to have and not what I wanted because he always has to be in control even if he is wrong. The man didn't even go shopping with me! I begged him for a mazda,,, you know what, that's not important. The point is that i'm not some spoiled "little" rich "kid" who sits on his but all day living on mummy and daddy's dime!!! Let's get that straight. I do however love vipers and pray that most of the people that own them aren't people like my dad. I might be younger... but I'm not stupid. Keep it in mind.
