I know this a different story because the SRT's are bottomed out in price, but I just bought an 04' for 8k less than KBB private party value.

My advice would be it is a long winter, and cars like this don't move much this time of year. Find 3 or 4 that you could live with, and start fucking with them on price. You will find someone that is tired of having it for sale and will cut their losses.

Yeah I know. Thing is, I've been on vaca from work from Christmas until Jan 10th and was hoping to get into one during this time. I've been zeroing in on a few and they just don't seem to be the 'one' for me.

I think I just need to take a step back and accept the fact that I'm interested in very limited versions of an already very limited vehicle, and it may take some time to get one I can be happy with.

I do appreciate everyone's help and advice though.

Sounds about right to me. Look at the Vipers in the classifieds that have not sold.

Bottom line is a cars is worth what someone will pay for it.
