Is my '01 GTS exhaust factory?

Just bought an '01 GTS - first time Viper owner, merry Christmas to me. I am trying to determine if the exhaust is stock or not. What I can describe from just looking at the rear of the car, which of course is somewhat limited: No rear mufflers, 3" diameter pipe where rear mufflers might go (looks like galvanized pipe, is magnetic, stainless typically is not), 4" stainless steel tips. Balance tube located at the front of where the rear mufflers might be. The rest of the exhaust system appears to also be 3" diameter.

I can find loads of info describing the aftermarket stuff, but nothing about what the factory put on the car. Any help would be appreciated.

whats on the engine end , can you see headers or are they covered, what you describe in the rear sounds like balenger cat back set up. If you can see the header on the drivers side balangers name in on the header pipe. A picture would be best.

Sounds like a 3in cat back system, but like RDperformance said.. pop the hood and see if you can see headers. If so you have a pretty good set up so far for your first Viper. Also see if the inlet tubes to the throttle bodies are smooth or ribbed.
