We had it running a few days before the race but we had a problem with a new set of lifters we tried so we decided it wouldn't be safe to race. We should hopefully be testing it between Christmas and New Year's.
Is there any chance you could come over to the shop while we're putting it back together and or testing it to make sure we do it right?

Jason lets not do this. this is a quite friendly thread no need for smartass reply's. we could go back and forth all day and in the end accomplish nothing. Ed
Jason is the lifters solid or hydraulic? I would assume since race car solid roller with soild lifters, and what kind of rpms do you intend to spin to.
Jason they say you can tell a lot about people by how they look after their posessions. Your shop looks very clean and i think the projects and products that come out the door reflects your shop. Very professional.
Jason - great facility and good to see plenty of nice projects on the go! Presentation was never your weak point and others could learn from it.
Anyone thinking of setting up a tuning shop should look at how the whole car - inside and out - looks coming out of Heffners Performance. That means more to some customers than all the bling added under the hood which they don't understand anyway.
I have a tip for that silver machine for you since you asked for advice:
don't drive it in the wet.
Be great to see what a car can do that you've been given a free reign on without the constraints of fully street! It can only be good for Heffner Peformance and Vipers in general.
