thats too bad. I was actually hoping he would run in the 9's. Not for him so much as for the car. I would like to see if an old gen 1 could do it.

Correction, he sheared the pinion gear in half.

Best of 12.69 @ 114 for the 430 and 11.89 @ 118 for the G. The weather was better the night the G ran the 89. Side by side he ran a 40 to my 80 with about 3 more mph I believe. It is definitely a faster car but a lot of the ET came at the launch where all-wheel drive and a 6-speed beat out the super-soft launching F-1. Rolling it pulled away slightly although the F-1 would gain a little on shifts.

Not the outcome I was expecting, but very fun to watch. Awesome cars.

Thanks. I was expecting a little better as well and not so much from Super-B but I think the convertibles are a bit heavier and the F-1 just doesn't launch hard enough for drag racing. I'm sure Enzo is rolling over in his grave at seeing one of his cars drag racing.

Very nice pictures Toby. I really like the head on shot of the 'business end' of the silver/blue stripe GTS.
