Actually, a white Supra ran a 9.55 and a black Supra ran a 8.99, both cars were 6-speeds and full weight. The 8.99 was the quickest pass of the day.

Thats what im saying, I thought they would have atleast got some practice runs before the big event today............or like one post hints.......there was some late night testing going on
Great time for everyone. The Viper community is truely fantastic. Garys first time doing this and it was great.
I ran a 10.40 on 19 Pirellis which 1Tony1 and Gary said is a record.
1.65- 60 time was my best on street tires today. I lost to Tony in the quarter finals. I became a little to aggressive and he was smooth and consistent all day & waxed my ass. Still had a great day and tip my hat to the ultimate winner of the street tire finals Tony.

I've been skimming through all of these threads and Javo has been noticably absent. Any word on how he and b.red did?
I am sorry for not getting on the board until now. I have been going non stop all weekend long. We got in late Saturday night and I collapsed when I walked into the room. Sunday was all day at the track followed by a 6 hour drive home. I just moved into the new house, and I don't have internet access there yet. I just got to the office now. I am exhausted. I give props to David Boggs. He made this look easy. It's not. Big Red did not get together in time, but I will explain that in a while.
Hahahahahaha, you are 100% correct buddy, WISH YOU WOULD COME BACK and do the same in 2007!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, this next TX meet is going to be one for the record books, every year these cars go quicker and faster with last years number being 7.94@181, I can't wait to see what 2007 has in store.

Just another plug, the event is awesome. A great race with lots of cars. Peter, I was always consumed by the unlimited class but what other classes can Vipers run in TX2K7?
