black viper gts...with or without stripes?

whats your opinions guys? My black gts currently has silver vinyl stripes (very well done too i may add) but i am purchasing some black i forged imolas for xmas and think the car may look meaner if its all black.
It may be easier to do paintwork on the car too if the stripes come off...
any thoughts?

The stripes will come off OK they have only been on for around 12 months, should only take an hour or so to remove and clean back up

To me a viper isnt a viper without stripes guess it will be more stelth

thanks for the input neil i know what you mean, stripes deffo make the car but at the same time i think id get a little bit less attention from the local jakeys attempting to steal it again
also, i think with black i forgeds it would look better without stripes. If i changed my mind after a while are you able to supply the striping again

photoshop the wheels onto a black car to give you a rough idea of the outcome

no problem to send some stripes up

If you are going for more attention, keep the stripes. If you want the car to look as sinister as possible, get rid of the stripes.

if it were my car i would have it all black. i think thats the only color viper that looks good without stripes. i really really really like it all black, any black car for that matter. my z06 was all black with black ccw's, i loved that look. i wished they had black vipers back in 97

As an owner of an original black/silver - I say get rid of the fake stripes...

Although, Matte black stripes would be the best of both worlds.

I second this. Deadeye has them on his black GTS and it looks absolutely sick. If there was any way for stripes to be stealthy...this is it.

Hopefully he'll chime in here and post up some new pics of the ride.

i think i saw a pic of a black gts with matt stripes on here. Looks quite nice but im not sure if that would look as good as a fully polished up all black gts with black rims

Skip the stripes.They chop up the car too much.A Viper looks smoother,wider,cleaner and classier without them especially in the darker colors. GTS Bruce(Saphire Blue and NO stripes)

Interesting thread, and after reading while I own a black/SS car, I am totally confused :bawling: which isn't easy to do. Personally, I would go with either stripes or the flat black stripes as pictured that is a balance between what class the car has and performance.

I'd pass on that black on black look. What's the point, they blend in. If your going to stripe it at least they should stand out IMO.

I TOTALLY DISagree. That balck on black is the best combo I have ever seen. I'm in trouble now. I originally had a red rt10, but then I saw a Blue/White, and fell in love. A month later I got one of those too. But now I'm felling the black/black. Wait until my wife hears about this. T R O U B L E!
