Are Kuhmos as good as Michelins for street use?

V700? Better. They stick like glue.

All depends on how you drive them. I would say the max would be 3-5000 miles

Once you drive on the Kumhos you won't want to go back, everything else just feels like shit! Bad thing though is they will rock chip your car something serious.

Try Toyo RA1's for aggressive street use. Best DOT legal tire I've found to run on the street. Wears well, can handle rain, and it's sticky (spec tire for WSC).

Depends on what you're looking for. Michelins get a bad rap but they easily last twice as long as Kumhos.

Try the new Pilot PS2, it sticks far better than the previous series, yet the wear rating is the same. To the touch they feel extremely soft. The tread is also unique and is a bit confusing on the mounting. They are rated for summer only.

I went to the PS2, and also found them to be very sticky. MUCH better performance than the regular Pilots. They feel almost 'tacky' to the touch when new.
