I really have no idea how I would react to this situation.
I would like to think I could restrain myself by saying it is only a car and the asshat tech didn't die.
On the other hand.......
I assume the dealership is buying you another one Swiss?

We just took your car for a test drive around the block. We didn't go faster than 30mph then all of the sudden a dog jumped out in front of us and we jsut couldn't hit poor old max our neighbors dog. What a bunch of CRAP!
I am sorry this happened to you. Make sure they buy you an equivalent car as a replacement.

You might want to get a lawyer on your side now, because the dealership will certainly try to pull some shit. They are not going to willingly buy you an equivalent car without a fight. Besides that, initial consulations with a lawyer can be had for only $25-50, and at least this way, he can give you some advise, and he'll have all the info and be ready. Plus, the whole process might go quicker too, if the dealership knows you already have a lawyer representing you, and they are to contact him directly (as your legal rep.) Get a copy of the police report too (obviously.) Good luck, and keep us informed on how it plays out...

What happened to the guard rail. Did he fly right over it. I would expect at 30mph there might be some fault to the Dept. of Transportation if they have that sort of thing over there. Hard to believe it couldn't keep him on the asphalt.

Try $150-300 per hour for a lawyer's "advice"
