Twin Turbo Vipers Roll call for CHAD?? RSI?? ETC?? for Bradenton!!
Trying to decide if we are going to make the trip to Florida... What Twin Turbos cars are going to be competing on SLICKS?? What 6 Speed or Auto cars are coming??? Hope a lot show up if we come down!
Chad I hear you will be there with the Junk Yard DOG!!.. J/K Are you going to compete on slicks?? You should line up with Roof or the other 6 speed car we might bring down. It will be a lot of fun to see two fast turbo Vipers go head 2 head!!
PS. Hope it is a good turn out.. thanks again Gary and Jason for putting something on!

I dont get it. What happen to all the racing that was in 03 and 04?
I remember when all the tuners were once itching to show off there works of art in the V10 natoinals that David boggs use to host. RSI, HENNESSEY, DLM, are examples of tuners that once held the six speed recorde and ever since bradenton 04 have all but vanished from the racing scene. Granted they are probabley busy building cars to satisfy customers wich is how it should be, But considering how well they did in the past V10 nats makes me wonder why they dont show off some hardware at these events. Ever since 04 when HEFF and CHAD took the records UGR seems to be the only one with the stones to compete and break records anymore. In the last two years, these seem to be the only tuners that have been pushing the envelope for viper performance. I give MAJOR props to UGR and HEFF for pushing the limits for the viper aftermarket world and major props to GARY J for keeping hte sereis alive.
You have a limited number of people with the funds to build these cars and they have built them, set records, beat records and moved on to new cars. It's old news to them, new news to those late to the game. Now it will be who can get a GT into the 9's, 8's or 7's or some other similar type of car. Or it may be that the 7.99 may not be able to be eclipsed by any other Viper.
No Rice you are correct. I remember, when I first got into the V10 Nats there were about 5 or races a year. All over and every few months, people would gear up for the events etc. I guess people have moved on as well the expense of being competitve is astronomicail to boot. I find the events fun but the number of vipers and people that want to do this to them is fewer and fewer. Will there even be a 07 race? If Javo had not rang the bell for the past two who knows? As far as only Underground being competative for a record that is driven by the customer base and not the tuner persay. Nothing against Underground just seems like the facts.

I think that Roof doesn't feel that Chads number cant be "eclipsed" and feels that he will soon hold the new record.
You are right about the funds to run into the 7's, big bucks. Look at the road that brought us to the 7's sec Viper. From when a 9 second viper was an very exclusive club to today when running 9's is sleepy. When running a 9 second pass of yesterday no one heard of a UGR or a Heff and now today they are both at the top, congrats to both, a household word in the Viper world.

Thanks TEX-MEX-RON... I might take you up on that trip to Cabo!
I pre-registered for the street-tire class. If I can still make it, I will pay the entry fees upon arrival. I should know more by the end of the week. I'm a 1/4 mile novice, so I hope to learn alot from you seasoned racers.
