All were real late build cars due to the issues with the stripe paint.

There was something like 11 of them. I know that 2 were wrecked and put back together with clean titles.... let me know the VIN and I'll see if it's the one I wrecked.

Thanks... I am waiting for the guy to give me the VIN #, but I will let you know as soon as I hear from him. The car is in Autotrader...a 98 Red GTS with silver stripes w/ 40K miles. $38,500 firm. I'm thinking that's a good deal if it has a clear title. The guy said he drove it today for the first time in a while and it did great. HE doesn't drive it much b/c he lives in NEw JErsey and just got married. Good deal you think? Again, VIN # is to come

Check out the paint carefully for bubbles. My '98 was perfectly fine for 7 years, then suddenly began to get the dreaded paint bubble issue in a few spots. Getting the car repainted is not cheap. Red GTS's from '97 and '98 had some real issues with this problem.

Thanks for the info. I am also looking into a 98 GTS in Texas...Silver w/ 30K miles. It's at a dealer, they are wanting $41,000?? Good deal?? I'm hoping they will go down to at least $40,000 or $39,500. They are asking $41,995. What do you guys think?
