Bellanger Or B+b Headers? Pros + Cons Of Both?

I'm considering a set of s.s. headers, but which is better; Bellanger or B+B? Engine is mainly stock and intend on keeping it that way, so 1+5/8" primaries are my best bet no matter what. What's with the tri-y bellangers? Why tri-y? The B+B's are not a tri-y set up and it actually looks (from pics) that the B+B doesn't take up as much space as the tri-y bellangers. Does Edelbrock make headers too? Cost-differences? Performance differences? Fit differences? Can the stock heat sheilds fit over any of these, with or without a little persuasion? Any info would be helpful!
Thanks again, Guys!
Chris

Go with B&B for the best HP gain , unless you get a killer deal on Belangers.

Chris,
I have a set of Belangers that have maybe 1k miles on them. Bought new and installed at Macedo's and uninstalled by Underground when I went twin turbos. I'll sell them for $900 plus shipping.

It depends on what your goal is. Are you going to keep it N/A or are you going to do F/I?

If you keep it N/A belangers are great. They have a good sound to them and make good power. If your going for a supercharger I think the B&B would be better mostly due to the larger primary.

I run belanger headers and 3" full exhaust with hf cats. Not too loud but everyone knows when your in the area.

Anyone have B&B's new or used for sale? I'd like to pick up a set but don't want to spend $1800

If you go stock on engine internals will the Belangers be a great choice, lot of low rpm torque and more power on the top. But if you choose to upgrade camshaft, cylinder heads etc will you engine benefit from a set of B&B. The dimension of the tubing have then to be choosen depending on your engine mods.

I'd be interested in seeing before & after ET results from anyone adding only headers.

- Most people add a catback at the same time-so it'd probably be hard to single out what headers alone are worth in the 1/4 mile.

I got tied up today but I'll take the pics tomorrow and email them out. Chris gets first right of refusal then you James. I did check my old receipt from Macedo but it didn't specify which size I have.

Aren't Belangers regular old steel and not stainless as the B&B?

I just swapped my Belangers for B&B. I have an 8lb Roe so I think it would suit me better. I noticed that the B&B are slightly louder with a little more drone at 1,500 to 2000rpm.

I had no issues with my Belangers. Heat was not excessive and the coating helps it retain its good looks.
