Simms seriously, answer me this.... do you honestly believe that there were NO problems with Kenny's build and that the situation shouldn't have been handled in a different way to avoid all this?? Don't avoid the 2 questions please.
Like anything in life, I think communication is key. So yes, the situation could have taken many different turns for both parties if handled differently. As far as Kenny's car, like I said before, it ran great and others reported the same.

So first it's "nothings wrong" Now it's classless to FIX. So which is it??? If nothing was wrong then why would it need fixed? You know damn well this one was botched up in many ways why don't you just admit it?? You were fortunate that your build wasn't. Again, you were lucky, others weren't.
You clearly don't understand my posts. Yes, the car ran great. I never said it's classless to "fix". I would not blame any tuner for trying to help out another owner and build their customer base. That's business. You know as well as I do that every tuner out there has worked on cars from other shops no matter what the situation was. Weather it's mechanical, the tune itself, something the customer request, or changes due to tuner preference. My point is tuner X doesn't advertise it all over the message boards. Maybe Mr. Good expressed it better than myself. My opinion would be the same no matter what tuners were involved. And yes, I couldn't be happier with my build, but I wouldn't say lucky.

The distinction here Chad, is that unlike Simms, I don't have to get on the forums and defend my tuner's cobbled up builds and pretend that people are stupid enough to buy it.

As some of you know I've had some horrible drivability issues with my car. A lot of time was spent trying to diagnose the problem. Kevin @ KC (Underground Racing)tuned, retuned, checked, and re-checked the entire system multiple times. They added an AEM thinking this would fix the assumed tuning issues. After adding the AEM the car went from driveable to UN-driveable. It started bucking, surging, stumbling, etc.... I couldn't even drive it to the store a couple miles away. I became very frustrated. I thought about selling the car but realized that I couldn't sell it with it not running, I even thought about getting another tuner to work on it. Fortunately, I decided to give Underground another chance. Turns out that when I had the Roe blower on, my car had the rear "ground" done. We disconnected the ground put the cover back on as well as the rear wheel and fired it up. The car immediately sounded different, and the idle was smooth and steady. We then backed it out of the garage and took it for a ride. The bucking was completely gone and the car accellerated up through the rpm range very smoothly and precise. No missing, bogging, or stumbling was present. We did several highway high speed, high boost runs and the car ran perfect. I couldn't believe it, something so small created so much frustration. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know the car is fixed. A big THANK YOU to Kevin and KC @ Underground Racing for not giving up and sticking with it until it was fixed.

Hey dude,
I know his car had a VEC2 installed for some time. That being said, the VEC2 requires several additional grounds to operate correctly which will cause the AEM to freak out if left installed. Hope I helped...

I think Larry will make an exception for his wife, LOL!
Make sure he knows how lucky he is and I hope you had a great Mother's Day Wendy!
Brian, thru all the troubles you had with the ground problem on you car, you never brought it up in the forum and that showed class. You worked thru it with your tuner, unlike SRK. That's what soured the whole situation with SRK and Larry. I, like others, hoped it could be worked out. Communication is the key.

Then why did my Viper still have the additional grounds on it after you installed the AEM, Larry?

good question. A better one is why are there pictures online of you half naked holding a rubber ducky?
I was told my custom rollbar would be kind of like the SRT-10 hoops behind the driver and passenger, however the actual rollbar was fabricated quite differently - which isn't a problem if I can pass tech inspection.
I have posted photos below that shows the relationship of my head to the rollbar and the roof of the car and you can give me ideas on what to do to make sure it would pass tech inspection if it even needs to be modified to pass.
Sorry about the model used, but the local modeling agency was out of 6' 5" tall female models, so I had to be the model myself for the photos. The photos of me in my Viper are what you will see here -

Here's another photo - would the rollbar pass tech inspection or does some work still have to be done in order to run in Viper Days and/or NHRA drag tracks?
