This is simply not true. F1 cars use surface gap plugs, and it's due to valve clearance, not compression ratio loss. F1 engines aren't even limited by their compression ratios. Whoever said this was completely full of shit.
My Viper has been returned to me by Larry Macedo and what was found - 2 dyno tests by independent shops verifying the car Larry delivered to me is around 100 LESS rear wheel horsepower that his numbers and also runs excessively rich and not anywhere close to Larry's perfect air/fuel numbers on his optimistic dyno test - has been also verified by a 3rd independent dyno test at Underground Racing. UGR also even put in the right reach spark plugs and found slightly more power, but nowhere close to what Larry claimed my car has.
There will be a new thread started showing what was found by Underground.
My engine was completed by Macedo April 6, 2006 - which is long before I posted anything negative about his work. Below is a very minor example of what Underground found during their inspection.

What should have Kenny done????? What would you have done if this would have happened to you?? This all started because he posted his experiences with his Tuner... Then all the nutt swingers started saying he was being to picky and stock vipers huck and buck! So from there he felt like he needed to prove he was not wrong.... Let me tell you something..... that car WAS a piece of shit and very dangerous to drive!! He spent 28,000 dollars and did not pick up any rwhp and got back a Viper he could not drive.. so please tell great one how he should have handled this?? He did what he should have done to tell his experience with that tuner so others would not make the same mistake as others before him had that didn't have the balls to stand up and say something!!!
IF THE VIPER WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE CORRECTLY THERE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM PERIOD!

I love the guys at Underground (Kevin) etc. but stop making them sound like the fucking second coming They are simply using their tuner know how to extract power to simply diagnose another shops work and correct what they feel is wrong FOR A PRICE. The way you make it sound " they step up to the plate" you would think they volunteered doing work for this guy PRO BONO. I THINK NOT.
and Kevin, easy on Rick, he like most of us feel negatively towards kenny for the retardation in his posting habits, not the situation as a whole. I think everyone would be mad to be in kennys shoes, but many here would not have spent that kind of money into a Roe Blower setup or allow the issue to drag out as long as it had. That I am sure you would also agree with given your publically made opinions on the Roe blower.

It shouldn't be a "blood bath" John. And that's the very reason we are so sick of Kenny in regards to this Macedo topic. If there was wrong doings and UGR has documented them ,GREAT. Go to a good attorney and sue the guys balls off for your 28k back. Istead, what will happen is Kenny will post 500 times with pictures and such how he was fucked over by Macedo when this should be handled privately. That is what will ensure this is a "blood bath" but it shouldn't be. Kenny's only motive for doing something like this is to deter others from using Larry. I dont think others weigh his opinion heavy enough to do that should Larry be the one they have in mind for their own personal performance needs.
