Hey guys
I'm new here, i drive a 2003 Dodge Ram Hemi Quad Cab and I am looking at eventually getting a Viper GTS. I've loved them ever since I first saw the first body style coupe back in 96 and I've wanted one ever since. I wanted to know, is there any way I could possibly find one for.....say $35K? This is just an estimate, I mean I may sound dumb but I just want to know what I'm looking at here. A 97-98 Viper GTS Coupe would be perfect for me so please let me know.

With higher mileage, yes. Three years ago, I bought a red 97 gts (one owner) car with 57,000 miles on it for $36,000. Never hit, checked out by a certified viper tech, carfax, auto check, and myself. You should be able to do even better now (3 years later,) or get a somewhat lower mileage car (say 20-30,000 miles.) Have it checked out thoroughly though; there's a ton of rebuilt junk, wrecks, wrong mileage, flood cars, etc, even with clean carfaxes. Good luck!

Take your time and spend a little extra and get a good car. If you pick up a POS....you will end up never wanting a viper again. Repairs will cost more than you think.

awesome, well are there any decent places to look for them....as in somewhere that specializes in exotics, i dont think Autotrader would be a place to find the decent quality cars.

sorry, but I am looking for the GTS, not the RT/10 and I am not in the market yet, I plan on it though.
