I stayed with stock.
I did ask that question to Chuck after all that I had read.
Thinking the same thing.
He stated to me that a lot of that is over stated and he has thrown blowers on countless cars for years and it isn't as much of an issue as is stated on the net. ( Not speaking for him )
Time will tell
Driving the car now, mine must have been f.ed from the get go of my purchase or a hair line away, which is why I posted this.
I think all should at least have these checked.
Mine were rusted and cracked to hell.
My short throw shifter pushes way over ot the right in 1st gear when I get on it (sometimes squeezes my hand if I forget to move it out of the way).... I was thinking I should check my tranny mount, but maybe they all do that?

That doesn't sound right. It should hardly twitch left or right. Definitely check it out.
Yea, It will literally smash my hand in 1st if I just rest my hand on my shifter and nail it. I have been thinking it's my tranny mount, but ya know.....

Yeah check that out....driven a few nitrous cars where at the hit the shifter doesn't move and thats 800+rwtq instantly.....
like i said before and now will repeat it again. the driver motor mount takes the most abuse due to the torque flex of the v10. that is most likely going to be the worst mount out of all the mounts and alone it will make the shifter sway back and forth. dont believe it. pop your hood, rev up your motor and watch how the motor rocks under load. it lifts up towards the passenger side or tries to pulling on that driver side mount. glad to see you got it fixed. bad mounts put un-natural stress on the driveline components.
