Finally stepped up to the Turbos. Decided to sell the paxton and go with the twin 76's from Underground Racing. After riding in one a few weeks ago I was hooked. Can't wait to start smoking the tires again.
After riding in one I quickly understood what everyone was so crazy about.
superchargers suck, after your loose the crank pulley, blow multiple belts and have the blower shrapnel and blow oil into the motor you kinda get over it.

Darius I disagree!!!!
I've never had to replace a belt, tighten it or certainly never had to deal with shrapnel or motor problems because of a viper.
I think the Paxton and the Roe both are great alternatives to the much more expensive turbos. For those that want great power without spending big money. However, Imo if you want the best system out there turbos are the way to go.

Superchargers are great for the money!! Not one thrown belt EVER has happened to us on any Viper, NO crank pulley problems as well
Sorry guys I was actually talking from my experience with a procharger on my LT-1 240z. What a nightmare! Seems the Roe setup is good but I've heard some problems about them too. More than likely they are great but nothing can compare to TT"s!

Brain, isn't that amazing how one ride can change your life forever?
I remember going for a ride in Sal P's Heffner prototype turbo car that had a bone stock motor and that car would have RAPED my Heffner supercharger car from any gear, and speed/etc...
I got on the board saying how turbo cars were so much better and everybody including Dr Roof told me I was wrong......
Trying to figure out what I'm going to Turbo next! :bawling: But yes, I do miss it from time to time, especially when A bike want to play. It just ain't the same!
Darius, Your 240 Is Sick From What I Could See From The Video. That Is Your Car That Was Going Side Ways All The Way Down The Highway, Isn't ?
yup that's the one. It's in the paint shop right now and hopefully it will be back on the road soon. I upgraded it quite a bit, fast full sequential computer, f1-r procharger, individual coil packets, should be putting out 800 or so to the wheels while only wieghing 2400lbs!
