Oil Pressure

Guys, just really quick, I think I remember a thread with this question, but I searched for it and could not an answer. My 2000 GTS with Roe S/C is my daily beater car; it has 30K miles on it and 12K on this Arrow motor. When hot idling, the pressure sometimes hits 35 PSI around 450 RPM. Before, the oil pressure never ever dipped below 40 PSI hot, but every once in awhile and even more frequently, it not hits 35 PSI. What is normal for the Viper? I am running a stock MOPAR filter and the 10-30 Mobil 1 Oil. I guess I need to know barring an engine noise when the engine will need freshened up. I'm thinking 20 PSI or below is time to puklk the engine, but I am all ears as this is my first Viper as well as first S/C car.

Put in some 20/50 royal purple. WIth all that extra power and heat of the twin screw, I think the thicker viscosity will help keep up the oil pressure everywhere and will certainly be visibly upping the oil pressure at low idle.

Good luck!
