97 GTS with mid 60k miles, needs front bumper repainted
what is this car worth to you guys. KBB says $34,000 in excellent condition
The car is COMPLETELY stock except K&N filters and the front bumper needs a repaint due to rock chips
I believe I spoke to this guy, red GTS wanted 38-39k I believe. Very rude, he had a RT also... be careful what he says...
he just emailed me back, you are correct. 39k for a car with that many miles, no thanks
I showed him the black/black GTS with 30k miles that is going for 39,500 and he said black cars always sell for less.... his is solid red mind you, lol
Just to give you a idea I paid 35k for my 96 GTS 2 years ago with 44k miles and a few little issues the car had.... That car is worth less than 35k all day long...

Is that car still available? I tried getting in touch with that guy when it was on ebay a week or so ago and didn't get a response. I really want that car!!

FWIW our cars will continue to rise in value (AS THEY SHOULD) what else (I ask again) is there that compares to a GENII Viper for any price? let alone in the 40K price range?? We should all be happy when the cars maintain value!! After all we as owners set the market so lets keep it where is should be!!! The Supra group has already figured this out. Case in point.....as little as 2 years ago I was buying low mileage Sup's for THOUSANDS LESS than I would have to pay for a POS high mileage car now!!! supply and demand rule market value. Now someone explain to me why a car as incredible as the GTS should not maintain a good value and or gasp rise?

I dont think so. Cars depreciate, thats a proven fact. The longer you wait, the cheeper they get. The viper is the best "bang for the buck" I guess but that doesnt mean the prices are going to go up.
If that was the case, everyone go get a viper so you can put your kids through college.... whos with me?
no clue if that black car is still for sale. Keep trying to contact him and if you get it, let me know. Ill probably buy from you in a few years, lol. But not if it appreciates, haha

I wasn't trying to piss you off I hope you do find a dumbass to give you a great deal sincerely! If cars don't appreciate then how bout you go buy me a few cars from the 70's that sold for around 3 to 5K new? Have you ever watched any of the Barrett Jackson auctions?? Are you telling me our Viper's won't be as rare or desireable as a 440 six pack, 69 camaro, cuda etc. etc. ?? I think time will prove me right Good luck on finding the car you want anyway I'm sure there are some great deals to be had just be paitent.
your not pissing me off... I think the vipers may go up a little in value down the road if they are prestine with low miles, but not one with 64,000 miles on it right now with the front bumper needing repaint. The ones Im looking for are ones that are healthy and actually driven. Id never want to twin turbo a car that has been sitting for 10 years. I want to buy it to beat the fuck out of it, not to try to make money on a vehicle which 99.999% depreciates bigtime.
