96-99 w/ heads and cam around 800-850 on a conservative tune.
SRT probably about 900+ with the fully built 522
these are just generac twin turbos nothing out of the ordinary
More specialized turbo applications, like the Barrett 106mm single, Paolo's big turbo setups, as well as the newer, big (76GTS +) setups from UGR and Heffner could all probably crack 1000-1050 on a good tune-- maybe more. This is assuming a good engine to start- Stryker heads and and a stroker crank or bore job.
Ive seen the CPE kit make 800rwhp with just injectors, CPE rails and a bap on a 97 GTS with just roller rockers. No other motor work. With a hair bigger turbos, a few more psi, and a little more aggressive tune, I dont see why 1000 would be out of the question for a stock motor'd car.

It's not out of the question to make the 1000rwhp on a stock bottom V10 engine.
The question is:
After you make the 1000rwhp on the dyno how reliable is that same stock engine with 1000rwhp on the street or track?
I found the limit of the stock maincaps. They like to walk after 1Krwhp. I started to see some fine metal bearing flakes in the oil after the first 750 hard turbo miles on the car. I decided to shut her down before I spun a bearing.
I made 1075 on 93 octane, 490CID no water or meth injection and factory casted heads @ 15.0 psi. After I put the main caps in I will aim for 1225-1250 with the same setup but with 19-21psi and upgraded ignition. With the big turbo and huge intercooler my AIT and backpressure are both unbelievably low.
I have about hit the limit with the heads that I have on the car. If I put on a set of Stryker heads I amd sure I would gain another 150-175rwhp on top of that.
The SVS engine makes more power than any 488CID engine I have ever seen or heard of on 93 octane. But they also have a fine laundry list of parts on that car as well. I do not have an SVSi budget so making SVS power is not in my cards.
