Holy shit Paolo that blue is killing my eyes!! Hey no flame but I was there at that race last year and wondered myself how they got Chad's car hooking so well. I took over some race gas that they needed and spoke with Jason a few minutes and noticed them making changes on the shocks and also a coil adjustment. We were using the same shocks in ROOF's yellow car at that race. We were trying them for the first time that day. We did not getting any launches that day because of snapping a pinion and shredding a drive shaft. Anyway just to clear it up I saw there set up and it looked stock besides the coil overs that are the same ones we use. Also when we got the car back home and tried out the suspension "same as Heffner's" we noticed that we were able to get the set up so tight that it would not squat but 1/4 inch or so.
ps. Hope to see everyone there esp. if we make it this year!

Is there anyone that looks at that video that can honestly say that car is not squatting? Why go on and on over this trivial bullshit? You should spend less time criticizing other guys that are accomplished, and more time getting a car to run well. Your track record leaves absolutely no room for finger pointing.
...saw us adjusting the rear suspension several times at the track. I'm not sidestepping anything. The wheels were off of the car at the track, the whole suspension was there on display for everyone to see.
Jason, I have already stated my viewpoints on this whole discussion.
You have stated yours.
Let's leave it at that.
Isn't it ironic that before you were dead set on saying that Chads car wasn't an IRS car, and now you want to "leave it at that." Hmmm, sounds like someone just got

Come on UGR, you HAVE to make it out this time around to complete the tuner round up. Plus I want to see that 88 car or car(s) your working on run. A full on, tuned up 88 TT should have no problem putting out 1800+ HP and 2000+ Ft lbs and breaking 7's too.
See you there UGR
Actually the twin 88 cars will make a little less torque than horsepower assuming it's got the right engine to rev a little higher than normal. I would say it would be more like 1800 rwhp and 1750 or so rwtq. Just a guess.

Wait a sec... you forgot to add this smilie to your post ()
Not until you admit you were wrong. Good to see you took my advice regarding changing your signature.
Jason, Thanks for the advice on the signature! Like usual you are THE MAN!
I hardly see how I am wrong if you want to discuss this further.
1/4" of suspension travel in the rear IS LOCKED OUT.
I bet there is at least 1/8" of compression in the bushings alone and another 1/8" of flex in the chassis.
How much does the alignment change with 1/4 of an inch of travel?
Not much.
With that being said, the angle of the 1/2 shaft coming out of the differential and the driven rear hubs is constant.
That keeps the alignment constant and therefore the contact patch constant for maximizing traction.
This is all fine except the IRS is being locked to work like the solid rear end picture you posted earlier.
This is why I am saying Chad's 7.99 setup was not going through the same range of motion as the stock Viper's IRS.
AND IF you compare the range of motion of suspension travel and rear alignment bump-steer characteristics of the 7.99 setup to a stock Viper or a solid rear end and straight axle setup, Chad's car is definitely more like the solid rear end car.
Anybody not wanting to acknowlege this is not really looking at the facts.

Just wondering... besides Big Red and a few other cars, any seceret weapons your brining to Bradenton or hints there of?
Even a quote like "lets just say the record we will set, will stand for quite some time" would do
after seeing paolo make a total ass of him self in this thread i can honestly say i would never buy as much as a chrome valve stem cap from him. that is all

I can see what you mean, but disagreements on a website dont change the actual quality of the systems. Or do they?
Anyways we have finally come to an agreement that the car was still in IRS form just had locked out shocks for better launching. So everythings .
Personally i'd like a 47-80 TT front mount, single intake, built motor, AEM, 4 speed manual tranny, and maybe even do a solid conversion like Paul, and it could be driven on the street and run 7's as well.
What would I call it?
A "Race" car that can also be driven as a "Street" car
So in other words, kinda like Sir Hiss but with a V 10 and no hood scoop

V10,
Good news, Paolo don't sell valve stems so your in luck! If you're looking for world class record beater THEN you would contact Paolo for a Front Mounted Twin Turbo RocketShip!
What records? The ones that will be set shortly. With regards to Chad's BumbleBee, whether IRS or solid axle, only the builder of the car knows the secrets of how he did it.
Looking forward to more Videos by Javo from Bradenton,
It's still on isn't it ? We all are piss poor at preregistering.
I'm just coming to kick NORMA's N/A ass and set the Roe no nitrous record and reset the Roe nitrous record
HEY 2TONETTA2 AND YOUR SISTER WARDO.................YOU ARE PISS POOR PERIOD.IF I MAY FRANK WITH U WE WILL KICK YOUR YOUR HILL BILL AZZ AND WARDO'S HILL BILL AZZ.........................SO FUCK THE BOTH YOU OF YOU LITTLE BITCHES...........GREAT TO HEAR FRON U AS ALWAYS!
