Those are bullshit numbers. That would take power untapped by the V-10 but maybe some one can prove me wrong on that (RSI or SVSi). Ripper's car went 0-70 in the LOW 2 second range on his test runs with Gary Javo. It isn't logically possible.
Oh man, don't make me recall High school physics. It wasn't a fun time.
I'm sure there's formulas out there now that you can just plug in the starting speed and end speed and get amount of time elapsed. That's assuming no wheel slip and no aerodynamic loss. In my day we had to do all that manually
When I posted, I had not seen the other thread where he said the "half track and 330' part"
That part really did it for me.....no way it happened.
I "can" see in that scenario where he looked down while trying to make a pass and made mistakes on the mph.
Don't get me wrong, this is definately a one off truck and is probably making real good power. Later I will post the pics or a link to them.
Half track + 330" is only .75 of a 1/4 mile. Do ET slips show a mph at the 990' mark, or was this person quoting readings from his speedometer? Edit-oops the 1000' mark

How much power, assuming no traction problems to go 14mph to 93mph in 2.5 seconds.
The new Z06 goes from 14mph to 198mph in .6 seconds with TC in competition mode. It is underrated at 500hp, Chevy is notorious for underrating it's cars. The new Z06 is closer to 1200hp than it is to 500.
How much power? My first guess would be a lot. I don't think it's possible in that vehicle.
He is only running 50% boost of what it is setup for, he is stating that he could be seeing north of 900 RWHP, with his currnet setup he also stated he is north of the 670+rwhp mark now. We will see what he puts down.
That is not possible in a truck that weights 5500+lbs. Even if it was I have never raced at a track that had MPH other than 1/8th and 1/4 so the MPH that they were reading was not verified.

Hes full of it....Who spends 50 k on a build at Roe racing nonetheless and doesnt get his shit dyno'd??? Hes had the truck for a month now and still hasnt gotten it dyno'd....
Smells like BS to me. I bet he messed up the ending mph because the truck was spinning the rear tires. He's speedo may have said 93, but I bet he was going closer to 63.
I posted within a week of that post that the clocks at the 330' mark were screwed up, if you would like I can go hunt down the time slip and you can see the clocks for yourself. I didn't know the et slips were screwed up at the time.
Blake why are you so worried about my truck? You went and hunted down a thread that was 2 months old, just to throw a cheap shot? Why don't you try getting your truck DOWN a track ONE time and then worry about me. Considering I've sent you over 30 pm's on another forum trying to help you out, I'm quite surprised you would come here and try to bash me. I don't NEED a dyno. I tested my truck on their airstrip. You worry about building a dyno queen, I'll stick to racing at the track.
It was never my intention to mislead on my post. In the excitement of running my truck for the first time after 10 months of not having it, I ignored the obviously impossible numbers. Simply looked at my time slip and went to posting. That was my mistake. I cross the 1/8th at 7.0's at 100-101mph now. Still got a lot of bugs to work out. If I put a real converter in it, I could go DEEP into the 10's. Having a 50lb+ tq converter + the extra spinning weight of the diesel kills it.
Guess it's all a mute point now. I've done what I wanted to do. I have the fastest QC SRT10 in the country, at least as of friday. I'm done with it now and I'm ready to go super stock racing. Going to hit ebay this week.
