Mcleod MIBA Twin Disk Clutch GP

I'm not sure if this violates any forum rules...let hope not.

I am not a vendor, but an owner of a TT GTS that finds himself in need of a good clutch (greater than 1000rwhp capacity). Therefore I am attempting to put together a group purchase for a :

Twin Disk Mcleod Clutch (good for 1,000-1500hp).
MIBA
Steel Flywheel
Jobber Price: $1,950+shipping

This is supposed to be the best clutch for high hp applications: good street manners, will hold the power and best of all is rebuildable for a reasonable cost with quick turnaround. I have had Mcleod’s on three different high hp vehicles and I can say that they have held when many others have not.

I will have the exact details later tonight. It looks like we can get a pretty sizeable discount (15-25% off of jobber) if we can get enough people. If you would like to put your name on the list of potential buyers (please no tire kickers), please post on this thread and pm me. I’ll give it a week to see what kind of interest we can generate.

1.) Earl Harris
2.) Carl B
3.) Joe Dell (Maybe)
4.) Freeflyer
5.) ViperX

Oh yeah, if this goes thru, I'll have a Centerforce NIB clutch for sale along with aluminum flywheel.

I'm thinking you might have to be a business to buy from a business that sells through dealers. Otherwise, dealers tend to get upset. Good luck with that.

I have something brewing that I hope to have finalized in the next couple of days (end of the weekend). No matter what we go with we will be able to get a very attractdive price.

I have 5 people (possible) now...we'll need a sixth to facilitate the McCleod option. I will post updates as I get new news.
