I spoke to the Tech at Mcleod and he told me with the power i am wanting to make I should go with the Twin with Miba lining instead of the organic which is standard.
Any of you guys used this lining material?
I street the car mainly and don't want to wind up with a clutch which is all on or off. I want the clutch to be as close as possible to the feel of the stock item.

The C5 unit will hold the power, but it isn't ideal for quick shifts. I have a brand new CF waiting in the garage, but I am thinking of selling it and going with the McCleod DD.
I had the organic and it failed on me right away! Dont go with the organic! The miba works great - feels stock - only downside is the metal on metal noise you will get whenever you ride the clutch at all like from a stop in 1st gear. Ive figured how to avoid it for the most part but sometimes its unavoidable like when you are on a hill leaving from a stop. McLeod says its normal so I dont worry about it! Good luck with your choice!

They work well up to a certain limit of power. I have been through two of them already. I have a clutch that Larry at M2 got for me now. We are switching to that one when the car comes back from painting soon. They can be tricky to adjust durring their life. But they can be re-manufactured failly cheeply and brought up to new again at a lots less money than pitching it and buying new everytime.
For under 1000rwhp, i always liked the spec 3 non-twin disc. the 3+ is suppose to be quite good as well.
As some know, I'll be trying the new SPEC twin-disc in the next couple of weeks. designed to support 1600rwtq, the twin iron disc comes w/ an aluminum flywheel and can be had for 1400.
I wish that someone had experience with this clutch before, but since it hasn't been in a viper I'll be the 1st to try.
