Shattered Dreams......VIPER is getting sold!!!!

The VIPER must get sold. That's right. I am sure the big question is why? I can not stoop to a level of being slanderous so, here is a breif description of why.

I made an investment deal with a good friend in FEB 06. It was to be for 1 month. We agreed to extended the deal for a month to be due in APR. As of SEPT 1st I have no return at all. I agreed with the wife if there was no return by the end of AUG (close of business of the 31st) I would list the car up for sale on SEPT 1st. It's SEPT 1st.....

Here is what you get for $45K
THE CAR: PROVEN 9 sec car! **yes it is a SALVAGE title**
97 VIPER GTS
ROE racing SUPERCHARGER with 10psi pulley installed. -EXTRA pulleys 5 psi, 8psi to come with it.
Short throw shifter
Fidanza ALM flywheel
ROE racing Headers and full exhaust system
AEM EMS tuned and ready to go!!!!! The car drives like stock around town.
Shift knob and gas cap changed with VIPER logo
5point roll cage (door section removable for daily driving)
MSD boost-a-pump
MSD wires
3 sets of wheels and tires
-1 set being CCW skinnies front and CCW/Hoosers for the rear
-1 stock set of GTS wheels with SCCA style race tires on them.....1 race only!!!!
-1 set of CHROME ACR wheels
EXTRA TRANS
-The extra trans works great. Bearings are a bit noisy but works fine.
All extra stock parts.

Looks like a nice car. What is the deal with the salvage title? What type of accident was it in? Also, was there any frame damage?

It's the same hood and bumper from the accident. No frame damage. If things were to work out before it's sold.....I get my return I am keeping this bad boy. This is totally against my will. You guys no the deal. A promise is a promise especially when it comes to the wife.

I'd sell the E55 and buy a cheap beater to take to work. The wife probably will not go for that.

HAHA your right. That was a car we both could agree on. Me for the power and all the luxury stuff for her. I do have a little beater truck to drive to work all the time.

Anything against your will you'll regret.

F it, refinance, 2nd mortgage, etc...
But ride it out ....
If you sell it and it clearly means that much to you, even if you get another one in the future, it won't be the same.

That's pretty much what is going on here. I made a deal with her thinking my friend would not let me down when he went overdue on my return. I am listing as I said I would.....

if you wanna part some of those wheels I'll take the chrome ACR's you have way too much in that car to give all that away.

AND NO ONE MAKE ANY OFFERS SO HE CAN KEEP THE CAR.!!!!!!!!!!

I still want them wheels though. You should have listed it at 60k where you wouldnt get any offers. Women may hold you to your word but your car is worth more to you than 60k so you wouldnt be lying, it just wont sell to quickly and then you will have your return. That is unless she has read this thread already.

Good luck with everything and guys, Gus is a great guy to deal with and the car is really nice and fairly represented. A good buy for someone, though I hope things work out so it stays where it belongs!
