I'd like to say a few words about Gary Almond/Almond Exotic Transports
None of what I have to say will come as a surprise to any of you that have ever dealt with Gary Almond as I'm certain that everyone's experiences have been just as excellent as mine.
We have been modifying exotic cars since 1998 and in that time have had to ship cars from one end of the country to the other countless times. During the course of that time we have dealt with just about every company that has a truck and a trailer, some have been good and some have been total nightmares. Before using Gary, cars would routinely show up or be picked up late, get dripped on in transit, one driver curbed a wheel on the liftgate and most transport drivers in general, at least in my experience, show little or no respect for the cars that they are transporting.
Gary Almond is the only transporter that I can say has come through with consistent, exceptional service. Never once has he been late, damaged a car or been unable to reach by phone for an update. We recently had two cars that had to be picked up on a specific day and also delivered on a specific day. In an instance such as this there are only two options, either have Gary ship them or do it yourself. Needless to say Gary came through once again.
I do regret that we are not able to use Gary for every car that we need to transport because he stays as busy as he does but I always make sure to call him first.
Thanks again Gary for coming through for us. And if anyone needs to ship a car in the country do yourself a favor and call Gary first. 240-994-1343.
There are few companies that offer 1st class service in any industry.
What is even more rare is quality people behind that service.
Gary Almond/ Almond Exotic Transports is all of the above.
I have used Gary 3 times and every time I feel 100% at ease when my sleds are in his hands.
I also tip my hat to Jason for stepping up with this post. (another quality person/company that deserves praise within our little community of misfits)
Also, this thread should not be viewed as "nutswinging"...its a professional "pat on the back" for a job well done. Something that should be done often to those who deserve it. Too often people quickly point out others faults but rarely praise others for their accomplishments.

I used Gary to deliver my GT when I purchased it as it was at a dealer in Ohio. He showed up a day early and everything was perfect. I also used him to haul my GT to Detoit for the Rally, then to Jasons for a pulley and tune, then back home. He was part of the in crowd at the rally because everyone knows him and supports him in the GT community, and he hauls lots of GT's.
I'd rather wait a few weeks for Gary to do the job than get in a hurry and use someone sub-standard. When my new Viper was delivered 5.5 years ago it was spooky, and the carrier was NOT Gary. Thanks and propps to him.

Gary came highly recommended to me when I needed my Viper transported. After experiencing his service and care first hand, I wouldn't consider anyone else.
Thanks Jason for the kind words and vote of confidence. And thank all of you for supporting me. I really try to give the best possible service and work extremely hard to make it happen. People like you make it all worthwhile.
You will not get better service from anyone, plain and simple!
Gary is truely a GREAT guy and a pleasure to have met through the Viper community!
Gary you the Man!
